Howard has been featured
nationwide as the resident astrologer on the Regis and Kathie Lee Show
since its start and was their first national guest. Some of his TV
appearances over his 37-year career have included national "Hard
Copy", "AM Los Angeles", "AM San Francisco",
"Boston's Morning Show", and New York's "Joe Franklin
Show". He also was a regular on USA Cable's "Alive
and Well Show" and has appeared on network shows "Good Morning
America" and Barbara Walters' program "The View".
Howard hosted his own all-night radio show on KIEV Radio in Los Angeles
for over 3 years and a one-hour national radio show for 5 years on the
Cable Radio Network. According to the "Guinness Book of
World Records", from 1975 to 1994, the highest recorded response to
a radio show occurred on November 27, 1974, on the "Bill Corsair
Radio Show"..."A five-hour talk program on WCAU Radio in
Philadelphia, featuring guest astrologist Howard Sheldon, registered a
total of 388,299 attempted calls on the station's busy signal counter.
Astounding, but true. From midnight to 5 AM, in the middle
of the night!"
Howard Sheldon's fascination with astrology began in his early teens,
and it has been his full-time profession for most of his adult life.
He specializes in psychological birth analysis, using the
horoscope as a diagnostic tool in preparing client's charts. His
objective is teaching people to use astrology to understand
themselves and others. Above all, he makes it clear that people
are in control of their own lives and should not use horoscopes as an
excuse or rationale for their actions.
What makes switchboards light up when Howard Sheldon is
on-the-air? It's his uncanny accuracy, witty approach and
extensive knowledge in fielding questions from the audience on such
matters as career moves, personal relationships and financial outlooks.
In addition, he does it without engaging in superficial psychology
or resorting to the dogmatic jargon of astrology. Judging by his
popularity through the years, that is exactly the way his many listeners
and viewers like it. |
